Can Online Golf Lessons Really Help Your Game?

Posted by Rob Jeffries

There was a time when if you wanted golf lessons, you had one choice: go to the pro at your local course. For some people, this was a great option. They paid their money and got an hour with someone who told them what their problem was and a way to fix it. For others, though, this option was disastrous.

Golf lessons are not always successful, and often they can destroy a person’s confidence altogether. Until recently, online golf lessons did not exist, so the only choice a golfer really had was the golf pro. But, now you can take lessons when you want, how you want, and at a much more affordable price.

Golf Swing Lessons That Really Add Distance

Posted by Rob Jeffries

For many golfers, desperation hits when their driver fails them. Their short game may be awful, their putts unreliable, but when their driver goes south, it is only then they consider golf swing lessons. The truth is that by this time, it is usually too late. Because golf is such a mental game, the deterioration of one’s game probably started long ago and is now only showing up in the driver.

Can Golfing Lessons Improve Your Game?

Posted by Rob Jeffries

So, you have been playing golf for most of your life – maybe twenty or thirty years. You now sometimes break 100 and can even break 90 on a good day. For the experienced golfer, taking lessons can be humiliating. You remember how good you once are, and now you are asking for help just to be mediocre again. But, you shouldn’t feel any shame. Most golfers go through times in their life when their games just aren’t clicking. And, that is when you need help.

How much time do you spend on the driving range, driver in hand? Most golfers spend more time practicing with their driver than any other club in their bag. Yes, it’s fun and rewarding – who doesn’t like to see a ball fly 200 yards, but this is not the most important part of your game. In fact, the best players on the tour are generally not the longest drivers – they are the ones with great short games and even better putting ability. Therefore, golf putting tips can really help your game.

Here are a few golf putting tips that I have gotten from teachers and even the pro’s that might help your game. Read the rest of this entry »

Improve Putting in Golf

Posted by Rob Jeffries

Most golfers spend the vast majority of their practice time on the driving range. They spend hours, trying to improve their drive, their distance, and refine their iron play. One thing that few golfers ever practice is putting, but good putting in golf is essential if you are ever going to score lower.

Of course it is a lot more fun to stand on the driving range with your big, long driver, hitting 200 or 250 yard drives, admiring them as they fly, but remember that in a real round, you will only be using that driver perhaps twelve times altogether. Every other shot will be something that requires finesse, strength, discipline, knowledge, and a great deal of luck, including putting in golf.
