The golf grip can be applied in three different ways. The best advice is to try to adopt one of these methods straight away, as bad habits are really hard to break. In a game of golf, it’s easy to make the mistake of thinking that the swing is everything. But it’s not—your swing is at best only half your game. Putting may be less glamorous, but it is fundamental to a good game. Actually, several experts identify putting as the most important part of the game, and something that nearly everyone needs help with. Many golfers, having mastered their stance, grip, and swing, fail when it comes to putting. If you’re looking to improve your golf game, you might benefit from a few golf instruction tips. Many amateur golfers make common mistakes that can be easily improved; all it takes is the right information and a little bit of practice.

First, make sure that you have a solid foundation. Try to perfect your stance; it’s tough to find the perfect balance between your feet (many experts cite an ideal weight distribution as 90% of your weight on your left foot and 10% on your right toe), but it’s worth it—a proper stance can improve your game immensely.

Holding the club properly is also key to improving your game. Don’t palm the club; hold it in your fingers. This will allow your wrist to move more freely and add power to your swing.
