As with every other sport, perfecting your golfing game involves improving those aspects that are less-than-perfect. For instance, by eliminating an unwanted golf swing slice you can lower your score and handicap. Here are some tips for ending your slicing:
1. Compensate for a downswing that is too wide. Try solving this problem by practicing without a club. After swinging your left arm backwards, your left arm should slant across your torso and cross at your right shoulder. Then during the downswing, your right arm should perform the converse action. Slant your right arm across your chest, and cross at your left shoulder. Keep practicing this drill until you master it.
