Where to Find Golf Swing Instructions

Posted by Rob Jeffries

Golf is a complicated game. To the spectator, it looks like you hit a ball with a stick and try to get the ball into a hole, but it is so much more than that. You need to understand weather conditions and wind, you need to be able to read how grass is planted and which way the grain goes, you need to know how to hit out of sand, out of mud, off a concrete path, and sometimes left-handed. You also need to know how to keep your cool when you are completely frustrated, and you have to understand that every game you play will not be the same.

Newcomers to the game often start with some kind of golf swing instructions to get them on their way, and although this is a great idea, they rarely understand that this is just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more to learn that is never implicitly taught.

If you have been playing for awhile, you have probably already had your share of golf swing instructions, whether you got it from a pro at the course, by watching the Golf Channel, or just by listening to your buddies during your rounds. These are all great ways to learn more about the game of golf, and of course, nothing beats actually seeing your own swing. More people are able to make a change in their game just by watching a video of themselves swinging a club – it can be frightening!

In reality, the best place to find golf swing instructions right now is online. There are any number of E-books and websites that specialize in various parts of the swing, and different types of players. From the beginner to the most experienced player, there are online lessons that can really help your game.

How to Find Golf Swing Drills

Posted by Rob Jeffries

When it comes to golfing, there is no one plan that works for everyone. Some people can go out and play just once or twice a month and play well every time. For others, they have to spend hours and hours on the driving range, just trying to groove a swing. Some people look to others for help and try to find golf swing drills by the experts to make their swing more consistent, longer, and straighter.

If you are trying to become a better golfer – and what golfer isn’t?  Then you should be working on building a more reliable and consistent swing. If you have a reliable short, straight drive you will quite often beat the long driver who will probably be more erratic. The key to reliability is in golf swing drills

These drills are meant to “groove” your swing, or commit to muscle memory. By doing the same thing over and over, your muscles learn how to react to the commands that your brain is giving them and you will get the same results. Without grooving your swing, it may become erratic and not only will you have a rough round, but you could become a danger out there on the course!

Most golf course professionals will have a series of golf swing drills that they use with their students, but this can be prohibitively expensive and sometimes not a lot of fun. After all, when you spend all that money to see a pro, you want more than just a few drills to do in your spare time. That is why it is a great idea to look online. There are some of the most innovative and proven drills ever and they are just a click away – much cheaper than an hour with the pro!

How to Learn the Correct Golf Swing

Posted by Rob Jeffries

If you have just started to learn how to play golf, then learning the correct golf swing is a necessity if you want to play well. Below you will find out how to learn the correct golf swing, and what you can do to improve it.

Learning the proper technique can be done in many ways. You can learn it from a golf instructor, books, or even online websites. Golf instructors can be a great method to learn because the professional can show you exactly what you should be doing when you swing. Unfortunately this can be quite expensive and it could cost you more than a few thousand dollars to get a full education in golf training.

Books can be helpful, but diagrams are often hard to follow and you will not know if you are doing it right or not. Books are also inexpensive, so it is the perfect option for someone who cannot afford a personal trainer.

One of the best ways to learn about golf is through an online course. Not only will you learn how to swing better, but you will also learn how to properly play the game, as well as the fundamentals and additional tips that you can use to improve your scores. Online courses are generally very inexpensive and will often have videos and photos you can look at to get the proper technique with your swing. You can learn at your own pace as well, and on your own time, which makes it the perfect way to learn.

Learning the correct golf swing techniques is important if you want to play the game of golf. Finding the method that works best for you will allow you to better enjoy the game and get much better scores when you play.
