Some players, when their game leaves them, choose to battle it out in silence. They may spend more time at the driving range or the putting green, or may even take a break from the sport entirely. As they say, “Time heals all wounds,” and some problems take care of themselves. But, “time wounds all heels” as well, so beware of this type of golf correction.
At a time when your golf game is in shambles, it may be time to find help with golf. You can find help with golf in several ways – personal instruction from a pro, psychological help from a licensed sports therapist, or by doing your own research through trial and error. There is an abundance of golf books, magazines, DVDs, videos, and even an entire television devoted to the sport, meaning you can always find help with golf.
Remember that golf is not life and death, and even for the professionals, it is nothing more than a paycheck and status. Always take your game and its everchanging moods with a grain of salt and don’t let it affect the rest of your life, your overall state of mind, and remember that your game will come back – eventually.
